I tried some macro photography with extension tubes and my Sony kit lens (28-70mm). I did not bring my Macro lens and wanted to take some macro pictures.
I have to say it did an alright job. Its not as good as with a real 1:1 magnification macro lens, but it's very cheap and also fun to do.
Some more pictures i took in a 1.5 KM walk.
